So far I've noticed that keeping my tach @ 2000RPM roughly 65-69 MPH is the sweet spot for my Avalon averaging 29MPG highway.

However, my budget that I was using when the prices were up, is now well over the actual amount of gas I require every week. I have taken this extra money and put it into a "when the price goes back up" account. I'll probably just use it to buy something cool... maybe a new laptop.

That way I know what I need to do work while saving gas on road.

The financial situation has not improved and even though the prices have dropped food costs have increased tremendously to take their place.
